I seem to have started a fashion! It feels like only a few weeks ago, but it was back in August when I informed you of the buffalo which fell into a well and had to be rescued.
No doubt inspired by that tale, two men, probably readers of this blog, have managed to follow suit. It appears that one Liuzhou man was walking along in the countryside near Guilin when he found himself, well, down a well. He did what any sensible person in those circumstances would do and called his friend on his mobile phone. Friend turned up, attempted to rescue man No. 1 and somehow ended up at the bottom of the well, too.
It could have been worse. At least no passing water buffalo fell in on top of them before they were rescued!
