Liuzhou Weather

Older images on this blog are hosted by ImageShack®. But their habit of regularly losing pictures has made me move to Photobucket. Imageshack managed to send me two emails in one day. The first apologised for permanently losing some pictures. The second said they had never lost a picture, ever, ever, ever. But they couldn't find the one I was complaining about. Idiots. Sorry if any pictures are missing. I'll eventually move all of them.

Water Writing Man

posted Sunday, 22 June 2008

One of Liuzhou's more interesting characters is the one I call "Water Writing Man". He can often be seen around town. WW Man carries a contraption fed from a water tank on his back which he uses to write his Chinese calligraphy directly onto the pavement. Of course, it soon evaporates.

Of course, you are all dying to know what it says. That's easy! Just stand on your heads.

In fact, it's just an advertisement for the calligraphy brushes which he is selling. But still a neat trick.
