Ukraine?

I would not be surprised if they are coming from some spam operation. Blogs are notorious targets for spammers, and they do a lot of things to gain visibility besides leaving comments, including sending fake referrals and fake trackbacks. I used to take quite an interest in my webstats, but nowadays they are mostly meaningless.

Then again, maybe those Russian speaking prostitutes I saw in my hotel are back home getting nostalgic! :P

If I had to guess, I would agree. I get loads of spam comments and trackbacks from either ".ru" domains or other Russian speaking websites. Looking at things the other way 'round, I notice that I have a few of my blog entries that are very popular in the stats, but they are the common targets of the spammers. I would say you have some unwelcome Ukrainian visitors.

THey are not leaving any trackbacks or anything else. Presumably the blogcity defences are keeping them out, but still registering the visits.

I'm a chinese guy, from south china shenzhen city, everybody know blogspot & blog-city was blocked by goverment, so many chinese visit here by using a foreign proxy. so most of visitors here from Ukraine may be chinese, they may use a Ukraine proxy. for me, i always use austrilia proxy to browse some foreign website which blocked by goverment.

Yeps, spammers. Have the same situation sometimes on my blog.
