The Cleanup Begins

posted Tuesday, 7 July 2009

Now that the water level has fallen back to near normal levels, the big cleanup has begun. Local residents have been joined by the military to clear up the mud and debris from the flooding. Until next time.

I grew up on the Mississippi River in America. I've seen many floods, however, this is my first one living in LZ. My question is, how did the water go down so fast??? Seems like it was going down 15-18 feet per day. Could some all controlling government even be controlling/creating a flood? It America, it takes weeks for flood waters this high to recede. Near as I can tell- after being out Sat and then today- in China it takes 3 days. Wow.

I don't think there is anything sinister. Just different geography. Wuzhou will be next.
