Sentry Duck

Last week, I decided to go for a walk in the countryside on the outskirts of Liuzhou. I'm not sure why. Here are a few pictures of what I met.

Rice Paddy

Firewood Shack.

Peasants

Peasants doing whatever peasants do.

Tomato Plants

I was able to deduce that these are tomato plants because I could see tomatoes! Either that or Mrs Peasant is sticking tomatoes onto an unrelated species just to fox nosy foreigners.

 

Sentry Duck

This fine specimen decided to follow me all over the place. Either it had never seen a foreigner before and was fascinated or it was a sentry duck making sure that I behaved myself!
