It was a bit of a Fire Drill, going to the tombs. I was there Sunday with
a few thousand of my close friends. Interesting to go and watch once, the
air full of wax and incense and people from all walks of life. I really
wanted to take some photos but no one else in the throng had a camera out
so I decided it wasn't a good idea. No way for a rather large laowai to be
inconspicuous in that environment!
I'd like to offer something to any kind of liberal-minded musicians in
China
"Don't reply if you have nothing useful to say, I hate waste of time."
I love these pictures. The perspective gives a sense of the proximity of
the crowd and a sense of familiarity. Hey I have no idea what the
photographer wanted to convey, but I know what I like. Good job, and Good
eye.
