I'm delighted to learn that the local government have been holding an ‘Innovative Thinking Seminar', although I've long been of the opinion that if they thought at all that would be an innovation. It seems that the party secretary called for "for thinking innovation and responsibility and emergence of doing so", whatever that means.
"Chen Gang asked government departments at all level to reach a common ground about thinking innovation, especially officials as good examples."
You couldn't make it up.
I am sure some officials will come up with innovative ideas to respond to
the call for "examples". How about ways to get around the challenge to
innovate ? But be careful, it is "thought innovation", not "deed".
