A few people have asked me if I felt the earthquakes today.
Apparently, two minor tremors were felt throughout the city. I managed to sleep through them both. That siesta culture!
I'll scour the newspapers tomorrow to see if there is any mention, but given the control freakery over news round here and the reluctance to print anything negative about China, there will probably be nothing.

Hi Liuzhou Laowai :) , this is Iris from Taipei. I started to read your
blog weeks ago because my boyfriend is living in Liuzhou however I have
never been there yet.(I'll maybe visit him this September,) I am very
curious about everything happened in this city, just want to say thanks for
your blog. By the way, there are another three typhoons coming to Taiwan
soon, be careful they will run to China later :P Wish you enjoy your life
in Liuzhou, maybe we will have chance to discuss Liuzhou later when I am
there.
