Bike Ban
In a long overdue statement released today, Liuzhou Government has announced a total ban on electric scooters to take effect at the weekend.
Spokesman, Si Yue Fu, said:
“These machines are a danger to the public and must be destroyed to preserve the dignity of the People under the leadership of the Communist Party and the application of Deng Xiao Ping Theory. Since Opening up and Reform and the Four Represents and Eight Honours and Eight Shames, these infernal machines have proliferated in number, proving the truth and foresight in Mao Zedeng’s warning, ‘Counter-revolutionary activities must be wiped out - just as we slap mosquitoes’ Although the upcoming Qingming Festival (April 4th) is to remember our ancestors and the dead, we shouldn’t create too many tombs to be swept or dead to be remembered."
