LiquanI'm in shock. I had to have a lie down. I received some terrible news.

The price of my beer has gone up! Cry 

Actually, I've known about this for months and expected it to rise before the Spring Festival Holiday.

Ever since I arrived in China 12 years ago, the price for a bottle of the wet stuff has been around the same - ¥3. Today they wanted ¥3.5.

Given China's rising inflation, it is hardly surprising, but still something of a shock! I had to have a drink to get over it!
