Two Liuzhou stories in China Daily today show how exciting life can sometimes be.
First, Someone had an expensive trip to a Liuzhou net bar.
"
A man surnamed Wei was ordered to pay 20,000 yuan (US$2,525) as compensation after he smashed the computers and desks of a cyber cafe in Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on Tuesday.
Wei vented his anger on the cyber cafe after his 10-year-old son surfed there overnight last week. He arrived in the cafe in the city's Beizhan Road in the early morning, destroying computer screens and desks .
He was later detained by police who arrived on the scene after receiving reports."
Then someone finds an old gun
“
An old hunting gun was found after an old house was bulldozed in Leitang Village in Liucheng County of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Monday.
The gun measures 223 centimetres in length and weighs more than 15 kilograms.
The gun is said to have been made in 1921. Its owner, surnamed Hu, said he would hand the special gun to a local museum.
In addition to hunting, the gun was used by Hu's family to fight local bandits and Japanese invaders from the 1920s to 1940s. It has since become rusty and is currently being displayed at Hu's new home, attracting many viewers everyday."
Luckily, it wasn't the guy in the first story who had the gun!
