Liuzhou Weather

Older images on this blog are hosted by ImageShack®. But their habit of regularly losing pictures has made me move to Photobucket. Imageshack managed to send me two emails in one day. The first apologised for permanently losing some pictures. The second said they had never lost a picture, ever, ever, ever. But they couldn't find the one I was complaining about. Idiots. Sorry if any pictures are missing. I'll eventually move all of them.

Off the Rails

Yesterday morning (2:20 am), a Guangzhou to Chongqing train was derailed to the south of Liuzhou. Amazingly only seven of the 1,118 passengers were injured, most of them only slightly.

Even more amazing is that they have reported it openly. A few years ago I was trapped in a Hunan station when there were no trains. The station staff refused to answer any questions. Only much later did I discover that there had been a train crash (in which several people died). The accident was never reported in the Chinese press.

Really?

So, you can tell me when and where the accident happened?

Can you tell me how you got the news?

Your comments (most of which I delete) are becoming more and more stupid. Please don't comment when drunk.
