Seems Like a Freeze Out
You couldn’t make it up.
It's not quite cold enough outside. Cold enough to freeze me, but not cold
enough to freeze food. It's about 3°C today.

Sure. Ohio is colder. But you have heating. Try switchiing it off and
opening the windows!
I have nothing but empathy. I had a freezer do that to me before and it
stank--lost heaps of food. If you have access to a cooler, you can stick
it outside with ice in it and that should work for a couple of days. wrap
a blanket or so around it to keep the cold in.
Thanks for the advice. However, sticking outside round here wouldn't work.
It would disappear in minutes! The local communists believe in sharing
everything! Or are just a bunch of thieves!
